We are delighted to report that after three years of hard work we have been presented with our Healthy Ireland -Health Promoting School Flag.

On Thursday 12th September we held a 'Celebration Assembly' in school. We were delighted to have Monica McCrory from the HSE and Ciara Heasty who are members of the Health Promotion School Committee with us in school on that day to help us celebrate. We watched a powerpoint presentation showcasing the hard work that was completed in school as part of this initiative. Afterwards the whole school collected on the drive way where we raised the flag and some pupils from 3rd - 6th class led us in a celebratory dance. The challenge now is to maintain the good standard we have already achieved in regard to healthy eating, being physically active and having a positive attitude as we move into the future.
