Junior Infants have enjoyed their first term at their new school and have encountered lots of new learning experiences.

Although Covid-19 has altered the way we do many things in the classroom we have still managed to provide a wide variety of activities that enhance learning. Aistear is used as a teaching methodology in the Infant classroom and is a firm favourite with the children. We explore the topics taught in the classroom through play. Our play sessions incorporate areas of the curriculum such as Literacy, Numeracy, Gaeilge, History, Geography, Science, Visual Arts, Drama, Music and SPHE. This term we have learned about 'Myself, Fruit and Vegetables, Autumn, The Hospital and Santa's Workshop'. Have a look at the Junior Infants in action!
