The children spent the month of November learning about people who help us in the local community.

We enjoyed working as doctors, nurses, paramedics and pharmacists in the hospital role play area. We visited the library and learned about the role of the librarian and picked up some books while we were there. We learned about the Postman's role in delivering our very important letters and parcels. Junior Infants wrapped and prepared a parcel for Peace in Uganda which we posted early to ensure delivery in time for Christmas. The highlight of the month was a visit from a very special fireman who told us about his job. Thank You to Fireman Alexie for taking the time to visit the Junior Infant children.
