Hello Junior Infants,

I hope you have all had a wonderful Easter and are continuing to enjoy the lovely sunshine. As we are continuing to learn from home I have attached some activities for you to work on this week. All parents will receive an email with printable worksheets and activities. If anyone does not receive this then please let us know via the school email address. 

Again I want to remind you of the Golden Rules around pencil work. Good posture, page position and secure pencil grip. Do your best and be proud of the work you produce. Send me photos of what you have been working on so I can see how well you are doing. 

I have included lots of play based activities this week so you can include your parents or siblings and make the learning lots of fun! There are lots of new links on Symbaloo too for you to explore. 

Please do not feel pressured to complete all listed activities. Pick and choose what suits your child and situation best. The activities should be fun and in no way stressful. I have tried to include a variety of activities so hopefully there will be something for everyone to enjoy! You do not need to worry about the colouring for every written activity. The Planet Maths book focus is on number concepts so don’t feel that all the colouring has to be done unless the child wants to. The same applies to writing worksheets.

Again, take advantage of the good weather and feel free to replace a worksheet with chalks/water marks on the yard outside. As long as you are working in some way on your letter/number formation then that is what is important!
