Walk this Way! Road Safety Awareness

This page comes from our old website. On that website we combined Junior and Senior infants . That year we welcomed 18 new Junior Infants to our classroom.

They have all settled in beautifully with the help of 7 very capable and friendly Senior Infants. Infants have been busy painting hand prints.

Road Safety Awareness

Junior Infants received a high visibility vest. From now on we will wear them when out walking or cycling.

After learning how to cross the road safely we went for a walk around Monaghan town to practice our news skills.

Planting

We help to make our school environment look bright and cheery by planting some window boxes.

We planted daffodil bulbs and some winter pansies. Lovely neat planting.  We would like to thank the parents who came into school and helped us with the planting. We learned a lot. After we planted, we watered the flowers and bulbs to help them grow.

Play Time

Play time is a great opportunity to make new friends while learning new skills and having fun at the same time.  Doesn’t it look exciting?

Construction Play. Children build and create together. Some wonderful creations. The Writing Table. Children experiment with different writing materials and different writing surfaces.
