Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a great Easter and enjoyed some outdoor fun in the fabulous weather. I have really enjoyed seeing some pictures of your work and hearing some stories of what you have been up to while learning from home.
I was very impressed with your work on ‘Spring Flowers’ that you sent me. Your art work and your written reports were very impressive. I am very proud of you all. I always knew you were talented and capable, now I have the pictures to prove it.
It has been so long from I have seen all your smiling faces and got to enjoy some fun and games as we learned together. I had hoped things would be back to normal by now, but hopefully before long they will be. Until then we will obey the rules and keep safe.
Once again, I am putting a plan of work on the website for this next week 20th April – 24th April 2020. The purpose of this plan is to guide you and your parents as you continue to learn from home. It will help you to focus on areas of the curriculum that have not yet been covered and will help to keep you busy. Remember, just as you are not used to learning from home, your parents are not used to teaching you from home either. I hope you all settle down and work hard for a wee while each day and do exactly as your parents tell you. This will make it easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
Remember we are aware that everyone’s family situation is different, so treat this plan of work as a guide and do as much as is practical for you at this time. Our aim is to support and guide you as you teach your children at home, not to add stress or make life difficult.
Please do email me (using the email address Mrs Mills sent you before Easter) if you have any questions and send me some pictures of completed school work, art work, or other activities you have been doing to keep busy. I know some of you have learned to ride your bike without stabilisers, I wonder what other things you have been learning or making during these last weeks.
