Wood - Stone - Ballons

During Science week 1st Class attended a workshop based on Forces.

The children designed, tested and made a see-saw to lift an adult, using a plank of wood and a stone.

Next, they investigated how static electricity could be used to move items. 

For their last challenge, the children had to use a tray, three balloons and a piece of string to help them reach a high object.

The boys and girls enjoyed taking part in the activities and worked well together in solving the challenges.
