1st Class took part in a number of fun, yet challenging Maths activities during Maths Week.
The boys and girls in 1st Class worked with partners or groups to solve the various challenges, which included a Number Tree Puzzle,and a Tangram shape activity.
Perhaps the most popular activity was the Lego Coding Challenge! Here the children created a small Lego maze, with a number of obstacles. They then had to place the instructions needed to direct their Lego figure through the maze. It was a very basic activity but a great introduction into the whole concept of coding and programming.
