 Active Week

This week we were planning to celebrate our Active Week in school. Unfortunately this cannot happen, but I would encourage you all to have your own Active Week at home! The weather looks promising for this week so get out and about as much as you can. I have included a short Fitness activity that the children might enjoy, but there are so many fun things you can all do at home.

  • Play on the trampoline
  • Walk, jog, cycle
  • Play football, basketball, tennis, chasing games
  • Practise skipping, gymnastics, karate skills, Irish dancing
  • Make up a dance! Play Hopscotch
  • Indoor Balloon Volleyball
  • Have races with your family
  • I am sure you have all heard of the Body Coach Joe Wicks and his daily PE lessons on Youtube, so perhaps you would like to take part in a couple of those during the week.
  • GoNoodle is another fun website that offers lots of dance and fitness activites.
