September has been a very busy month for the girls and boys in 1st Class. We have enjoyed getting to know each other again after the summer and have settled nicely into our daily classroom routine.
The theme for most of our lessons during September has been 'Myself'. We have completed lovely activities on 'Where I live', 'My Family Tree', 'My First Day of School', and 'When I Grow up I want to be a .......'. We created beautiful portraits inspired by Sandra Silberzweig, and name art in the style of Romero Britto. We have also been focusing on the Recount genre in both our writing and oral language lessons.
