Our class participated in one of the many online events organised by Monaghan Library for this years festival. We joined the award winning Irish author illustrator Paddy Donnelly as he shared his latest book' Fox & Son Tailers', and showed us how to sketch a character from the story. We also entered the Mr.Men or Little Miss Competition, where we had to design a brand new character and write a short paragraph to describe them.

The author Paddy Donnelly read his new book about Rory and his Dad who make tails for all the animals. We got to draw along with him as he sketched the peacock character from the story. We had great fun doodling as we created out own tails for the peacock. We also got to ask him some questions about his work as an author illustrator.
