We have had a busy January and February in 1st &  2nd Class. Take a look at some of the activities we have been working on.   

 We painted beautiful Winter Trees.

We learned all about adjectives and wrote very descriptive Winter poems.

In Gaeilge, we learned lots of new Winter vocabulary and we enjoyed writing our own stories for our class library.

We completed our unit of work on Procedural writing. We had lots of fun writing a procedure on how to make fruit pizzas. We wrote out the steps we needed in order to make the pizzas. We were able to follow these steps to mkae our own pizzas and enjoyed the finished product!

1st Class learned all about measuring using the metre string and used this to find items in the classroom that were longer than, shorter than or equal to one metre.
