1st & 2nd Class really embraced World Book Day 2023, and celebrations to mark the event lasted for the whole week, as the children enjoyed reading lots of different books, sharing their favourites with the class, relaxing in our chill zone, and completing creative activities on their chosen books.

We started the week with a trip to the library where we took time to choose our new books.

Our Resources area was transformed into a comfortable, relaxing Chill Zone, where we got cosy under the blankets and enjoyed our reading time.

We completed some fun activities on our favourite books and characters.

After reading our books, we shared our recommendations on our interactive BookFlix Display.
