Senior Infant Word Detectives
We went searching for clues in the General Purpose Room. All the clues were cvc words belonging to the ‘at’ family. We had great fun and found lots of ‘at’ words.
Water Safety & Lifesaving with IWSA

In June we were delighted to have a visit from Kathleen from the Irish Water Safety Association. We learned lots of useful rules for keeping safe in water in lots of different settings. She also taught us how to throw a float or other object to save someone who is in difficulty in the water.

The DEAR initiative this year fell on a beautiful day which gave us a lovely opportunity to take a break from the classroom and find a relaxing spot outside to chill out with our books. All we needed was a cup of tea!
